The fact of the matter is I am not a "sports memorabilia" buff. I am selling this for a friend who needs help paying family medical bills. It belonged to her father who passed away in 2006. She tells me that her father and Johnny Unitas had some sort of business association in the 1980s but is unable to give any specifics. I understand this item to be quite rare but I would certainly appreciate any input from anyone who might have some knowledge as to this piece. It is a guaranteed authentic JOHNNY UNITAS Autograph on an early photo of him as you can see. It is inside a framed plaque which has a metal sign on the upper right which says: JOHNNY UNITAS BALTIMORE COLTS 1956-1972 SAN DIEGO CHARGERS 1973 HALL OF FAME 1979 Engineered The Drive Vs. The Giants in 1958 NFL Championship To Win The First Ever Overtime Post-Season Game 23-17 This Is Considered By Many To Be The Greatest Game Ever Played #4 in a Limited Autographed Edition of 190 The item speaks for itself so you be the judge. I will guarantee this items authenticity. Plaque measures 15" x 12". Excellent condition.
