Just in time for TURKEY DAY!! Up for your consideration is a beautiful VINTAGE retired (circa 1951-1974) Johnson Brothers Wild Turkeys Transferware Platter. T he platter's design is two wild turkeys taking flight in vividly colored rust, green and brown hues. The rounded 8 sided slightly scalloped edge is ornately decorated with a brown and cream colored border of fall flowers and fruits. The platter is impressively large measuring about 20 3/4" long by 16" wide ! It will make an impact on your table as a useful serving piece or on a shelf or wall as an impressive display piece! This platter is in excellent condition. The surface is clean, shiny and smooth with no sign of utensil marks or crazing. The brown stamp on the back of the platter reads: Wild Turkeys (with a turkey
