For sale is a Johnson Fare Box. Not sure if it's from a bus, trolley or street car. It used to accept coins or tokens. The last patent date is 1914 (see photo), and the serial number is 64604. The fare box is approximately 24 inches by 9 inches by 7 inches. It is very heavy so I cannot ship it. Local pick up only. I am selling it "as found." It would obviously have to be refurbished to get in working order.If you would like to stop by and see it before purchasing, let me know. In fact, I would prefer you do look at it prior to making a purchase. The sale must go through eBay, but you are welcome to stop by and take a look.
