Up For Auction .... 1958 Madam Alexander 11" Lissydress, jacket w/matching lining & Hat Estate Find Presented is a Madame Alexander Lissy doll with matching hat and jacket that is lined in same fabric as dress. The doll is in very good condition, tightly strung, and holds a pose well. There are no cracks or splits in body or head. There is a light blue mark on one arm. Her undies, made of cotton with rainbow trim, still have good elasticity. The dress is a light swiss (dotted) cotton cream background with red dots. The red wool jacket is lined in the same fabric. The hat has the fabric as trim. The dress and armholes are trimmed in red rick rack. The clothing is in very good condition. It has not been washed. There are no stains or tears. Her hair is in good condition, but looks as if it may have been trimmed. I found a picture of a MA with the same costume. The cloth appears whiter in the picture than this dress and the hair is longer. I am not sure the shoes are original. She is dressed "as found" at an estate sale in a shoe box. I am listing the clothing found in the box separately. The pieces fit the doll.
