T his is the February 1973 issue of JOKER a Humorama publication (full-size magazine, v olume 20 no. 27) and it has the customary mixture of pin-up girls and cartoons. (Note that JOKER was both a digest and later a full-sized magazine - this is the latter). It is in acceptable condition. If it were a comic book I would grade it "POOR" because the front cover is detached back cover is missing. The rest of the book could be graded "fair": the pages are just beginning to yellowing but are still flat and square. Page 3 is a little beat-up since it now acts as "the front cover". I believe from the logo on the back page that it is the actual back page and that no pages (other than the back cover) are missing - note that unlike the digests, these magazines did not number their pages. See the photos.Pin-ups include long-time "Humorama girls" Annette Moore and Teri Martine (for I never saw them anywhere else), Vicki Lohberg, Lina Kloser ("Lean closer" - what a pseudonym!), and Anne Robert. There are quite a few others and please note that this magazine doesn't really go beyond what was seen in the digest era of the 40's-60's - this was about to change as the magazines from the mid-70's on contained explicit full nudity. In addition to Bill Ward, o ther artists are Bill Wenzel, Jefferson Machamer, Kirk Stiles, Paul Hamilton, and Reamer Keller read more
