OLD JOSEPH GUARNERIUS VIOLIN WITH CASE & BOW Inside the violin is written: Joseph Guarnerius Fecit Cremona Anno 1746 IHS. T is a repair on the top (see photo) along with some scuffs and finish loss on top and back. The bow will need new hair and I don't see a maker on it. The case is old, but not sure if original to the instrument. The leather handle is quite worn. The bridge is marked Aubert Made in France. T is a velveteen chin rest enclosed in the case as well. Instrument meas. approx. 24" L. Purchased at an estate sale w violins were collected. Sold as is unless condition is understated. Please see photographs below. Email if you have questions.
