Lovely Spode blue and white transfer pearlware sauce tureen on stand, having Spode mark from circa 1805 to circa 1840. Girl at the Well pattern. A very attractive hard to find item. Measures: Stand 18cms x 13cms. Tureen inc. lid 18cms (inc. handles) x 12cms (inc. lid handle). Total weight 670 grams. Condition: Hairline around lid recess, tiny pin head chip to lip rim. Very slight underglaze discolouration to one side of tureen (hard to photograph as not very obvious). Good crisp colour to blue and white and overall a nice set in good condition considering age and use. A hard to find item that will display nicely and will add to a collection.
