Journey Into Mystery #111 THOR, Kirby/Stone, FN 12/1964 Offered here for your consideration is Journey Into Mystery #111 from Mighty Marvel in 12/1964. This is a scarce early issue from Marvel's historic title that started out as precode horror; it morphed into fantasy & sci-fi with the coming of the Code (and those goofy Kirby monsters); then with #83 the Mighty Thor was introduced at Mighty Marvel.Kirby/Stone render the cover art AND the Thor story, while Kirby/Colletta draw Tales Of Asgard. Complete glossy FN/FN+ copy with supple creamy pages. There is only very light edge wear to note. The cover is attached at the staples. A decent copy of a tough classic book. Grand Comic Database (GCD) is a wonderful reference for all things comic; artists, stories, etc. Add either $3 or $4 (slower/faster) for postage in US for a few comic books, likely higher elsewhere.
