Marvel (8/62) : JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY 83, featuring the ORIGIN and 1ST Appearance of THE MIGHTY THOR ! One of the MOST SIGNIFICANT "key" issues of the Silver Age ! This is a very attractive lower-grade copy for the budget-conscious collector ! The positives : Cover is secure at both staples; centerfold is attached at its top staple. Other than a 1/2 inch bottom spine split, the rest of the spine is solid, unchipped, unsplit ! Cover colors are nice and bright for a lower grade copy ! Interior pages are nice off-white. The negatives : Edge chipping on right edge of front cover (mostly) ; bottom right corner of front cover; top edge of front cover. (All chipping is seen in front scan.) There`s a spine roll / upward fold along its spine (upward curl not noticeable in front scan) , which keeps it from lying flat. Lastly, there`s a horizontal tear on its upper back cover, about 2 inches long, in the "to 200.00" area of the ad. Overall, a more than respectable low-grade copy ! Postpaid Money Back Guarantee.
