Julia Bride by HENRY JAMES 1909 First Edition HC/DJ SCARCE Quarter Bound This First Edition of Julia Bride by Henry James was published by Harper & Brothers in 1909 and comes with the original dust jacket. The dj is lightly faded and shows signs of wear and rubbing with chipping and tears around the edges and spine. The price mark on the inside of the dj has been clipped at both top and bottom. The cover is quarter bound with red cloth on the spine. The edges and corners show light signs of rubbing. The black lettering appears to be rubbed slightly on the cover and spine but still intact (pictured). The pages and illustrations are clean and without folds, creases. or tears with cloth still attached to frontispiece. There is faint shadowing along the endpapers as well as a few pages throughout the book. The binding is slightly separated but still very good. This book is in excellent condition (especially for being over 100 years old still with its dust jacket) and would make a fine addition to your collection.
