Beautiful thick bar pin or brooch rectangular with foiled crystal rhinestones in autumn shades of green, rust and gold. The stones are prong set in goldtone. The center stone is what collectors call a watermelon stone because it has a touch of pink and other shades of green in its depths. This pin looks like Juliana, but it has a trombone clasp which was commonly used in the 1920's and soon after. It's 2 1/4" across and 1 1/4" high. It has a slightly curved or domed shape. The pin is in vintage near mint condition with no dings or flea bites in the stones, no wear to the goldtone and all prongs present. The clasp shows the most wear and the pin isn't perfectly straight, but it works well (see third picture). The stones are really spectacular, the foil is still so strong it sparkles like crazy and will certainly turn all eyes in your direction. (Women who wear vintage can attest to the reaction you get with amazing old stones.) The pin is not marked or signed but is clearly Czech or Austrian.
