German Wall Clock by JUNGHANS Time and a half Strike Movement Manufactured :Turn of the Century Height 24" With 10 Depth 5 Solid wood Cabinet Very nice trim wood at the top and bottom of this German Wall Clock This is a beautiful turn of the century antique German Wall Clock. The movement is by JUNGHANS I have taken the time to restore this amazing clock to a useful state. The clock movement was ultrasonic cleaned and checked out. the movement was oiled with a synthetic oil that will last for years to come. The dial looks origional. it keeps great time and the clock strikes the hour with a gong and half hour on a gong. The clock will add charm to your home what ever application you use it in. The old finish looks great however the clock is over 100 years old so t may be a ding and t and should be expected from its age. Everything looks origional to me but i cant tell for sure that something want redone in the past. Please look at the pictures and make your own observation. I try to describe it as accurate as possible also keep in mind this is an old clock manufactured by JUNGHANS a leader of clock manufacturing for its time and is an antique constructed in the time of our history before the world wars and people were still using horses to get around. Finally i want to say it keeps good time it may loose a minute and t because its a wind up clock not a quarts clock like ones you buy today.
