Original 14" x 36" folded insert poster for JUNGLE JIM (1948) starring Johnny Weissmuller, Virginia Grey and George Reeves. This was the first of thirteen profitable "Jungle Jim" programmers Weissmuller would make for producer Sam Katzman between 1948 and 1954. He would make three additional films in teh series playing himself and 26 episodes of a JUNGLE JIM television series (1955-56). CONDITION: FINE+ Superb VERY GOOD+/FINE condition with scattered pinholes. The poster is solid and intact, but a previous owner saw fit to reinforce each of the folds with several pieces of clear tape on the verso along with some minor edge nicks and tears. The Captain Bijou logo watermark does not appear on the actual poster. This is an original movie poster, not a reprint, reproduction, VHS video cassette or DVD!
