My father was a member of a popular vocal group which used to tour the U.S., performing concerts in over a hundred different cities a year. During the course of the tour, the group was often asked to perform the National Anthem at baseball games that happened to take place while they were performing in that particular city. Most of the time, my father was invited down to the home team's locker room after the game, to meet the players. He usually asked for a baseball that he could have each player sign as he met them. This is one of those balls. My father had a habit of labeling the balls with the team name.
