From the NON-smoking home of the original owner. This doll comes from the original owners daughter and has never been on the market for sale. She is a beautiful Kammer and Reinhardt / Simon and Halbig doll. So rare to find in her complete original costume that is in such excellent condition. The superb condition of her costume is attributed to her storage in a box since 1930. The doll appears to have never been played with. The clothing has the original tiny stiches as the closures and has never been removed. Her bisque socket head has bright unfaded coloring and her human hair wig retains much of its length, although the hair is dry. Her composition body has never been repainted and has the beautiful aged coloring seen on the better composition bodies. The Only defect is a broken finger on 1 hand. The vivid blue ribbons are unfaded and she has her matching hair ribbon. She has a slip with a matching 1 piece chemise set.
