The K2 Escape 5500 Unlimited Alpine Ski is a silky smooth ski featuring the high-end technology found in K2’s expert-level skis combined with a forgiving demeanor for the progressing skier. Intermediate through advanced skiers will find the 5500 Unlimited easy to ski, but unlike many recreational skis that skimp on damping technologies (various materials that reduce ‘chatter’ in a ski), you’ll notice the 5500 gently pushing you to the next level. The generous 17mm sidecut allows the 5500 Unlimited to arc a nearly perfect turn once on edge, and a hefty-enough tip and waist power through variable snow with ease. Condition The used skis and bindings are in good condition. They've seen a lot of use. The topsheets have some light scratches and scrapes from normal use. Bases have some light scratches from normal use. Edges are straight and true all the way around. They are a little thin from multiple tunings.
