Offering you this RARE KA-BAR knife with Axe/Hatchet combo. This outstanding all original set comes with the original sheath, knife and axe. Original solid hardwood handle with the locking mechanism still intact and WORKING! This knife/axe combo has not been restored and shows normal age related corrosion on both the knife and hatchet blades. The original handle is NOT chipped or broken, just needs a light restoration. The original leather sheath is in fair condition with some vintage solid brass rivets added many years ago.. I don't know if the smaller leather strap is original or not but works fine. Knife blade is signed with UNION CUTLERY CO. OLEANS NY. The hatchet/axe signed KA-BAR REG. US PAT.OFF. Please look at all 12 of the posted pictures as they are a major part of the description as you can see the blades on both have NO CHIPS or DENTS. You be the final judge as to the restoration needed but I think it's minimal.
