For auction is a WWII Kabar USMC Fighting Knife and leather sheath. Knife is in exceptionally good condition with the exception of ONE small nick in the blade at the 3" point from handle. Finger guard, pommel cap, and leather washers are exceptionally tight on this specimen. The Leather sheath has been cut down the edge side about 3" as well, nut upon closer inspection t is a Polynesian girl, bare cheated in a grass skirt about 6" tall on the front of the sheath that has been drawn. On the back side of the sheath is a Polynesian girl approx. 4" tall also bare chested and in a grass skirt. This is a fine example of a Pacific Theatre Kabar. Knife is exceptionally tight. The artwork on the sheath should make this item a timeless collectible. Email any questions and thanks for looking. Payment due within 7 days of auction close.
