Vintage Style Pith Helmet or Mahout Hat Made in Thailand Size 6 7/8 Khaki Color Very Light Weight, Great for Fishing, Jungle Exploration, Driving your Elephant, or Other Outdoor Activities Very Good Used C ondition . Nice cap. Clean with light wear. A few cracks on the underside of the brim. Made in Thailand (sorry, can not tell you what it says, please email me if YOU can decifer). It has 4 vents to keep you cool. The inside feature a leather band with cloth within the head portion and green velvet on the underside of the brim. There is a string to secure it own your head, it may or may not be original. The string show some wear but looks like it could be replaced. An auction find, I am not sure if it is vintage or not but it sure is cool. Military items are a new item at Anne's Attic, we are not experts, so please ask questions before purchase. See pics.
