Kaiser Porcelain Rare Fox Hunt Hand Panted Figurine This is a rare, hand painted, porcelain sculpture of a horse and rider, with his trusty dog beside him. It is in perfect condition, with no cracks or chips. Serious bidders only, please. Kaiser is world renown for its hand-painted artists' editions. The artist's signature, S Bachmann , is engraved near the back of the sculpture, but I could not get the camera to focus on it for a decent picture. I've included a very clear picture of the bottom, with Kaiser's markings, and the number "455." It also reads: Handpainted Made in western Germany Wa This figurine belonged to my Great, Great, Great Aunt, who was from Germany. This is a large piece, measuring 11" across and 8 ¾ "high. The markings on the bottom include the official Kaiser Crown and name, and also: I don't have an estimate on the age, but believe it's an early piece.
