China, This ginger jar is a Kangxi Plum Export. Of globular form with a glazed cylindrical rim with a perfect lid. The sides with blue ground Hawthorne pattern of prunus blossoms in the Kangxi style, and a double blue ring mark to the base. This is in excellent condition - not a chip, crack, or hairline. Gorgeous blue color, and would make a fine addition to a collection or your home decor. "Little Plum Blossom of Hill Garden" (山園小梅).
