KAOLO, FRANCE, ALUMINUM OVERLAY MODEL, SAFETY, RARE DATE: 1940's NIB: ORIGINAL METAL ( imprint: KAOLO 125 ) NIB SIZE: F BARREL: STAMPED on OVERLAY: KAOLO MADE IN FRANCE TOTAL LENGTH: 130 MM (closed) FILLING SYSTEM: SAFETY CONDITION: EXCELLENT, PEN IS FULLY WORKING, NO DAMAGES, NO SIGN OF USE, NO PERSONALIZATION NOTE: During and after the II WW, these pens were made using aluminium leftovers from the French arms industry, mostly for export to Asia and Africa ( because of the climate aluminum better then silver) , where "Kaolo" even became a synonym for "pen".
