A beautiful Karen Karnes Studio Pottery Canister. Standing 7 7/8" tall and 5 1/2" at its widest point. The piece is not in mint condition because of a few tiny nics, one to the lid and two tiny spots to the rim. Also, picture 6 shows what looks like a scratch in the side of the piece. It seems this happened pre firing. The reason I say this is because under magnification there is a tiny bit of pottery pushed away from the bottom and top of the mark. If it was scratched after finishing, there would not be any pottery pushed to the side. I can't be 100% positive, but the mark seems pre finish. Please feel free to ask questions. Thanks for looking. A nice large piece of pottery by one of the great potters of the 1900s. Sorry, no buy it now.
