Kate Bush 1985 Message 7" Red Flexi-Disc This is the one of the original Japanese Fan Club red flexis! It was an official release! This is the item that prompted thousands of pirated bootlegs! The 7" flexi is candy apple red. A silver inked "label" in the middle with the "TK" and the "Sample E-7228 (S)". Only one side is pressed. It contains the original recording for the bootlegs. A short message from Kate, then a live performance of The Beatles "Let It Be" and then a much longer spoken message from Kate's brother John Carder Bush. The flexi is still in its original translucent clear plastic sheath which is rounded on one end. It is now additionally kept in a clean white paper sleeve to protect it. The original outer "sleeve" is a single sheet of thin paper that is folded up at the bottom. Black and white printing on both sides. The inside is entirely in Japanese and appears to include a greeting from the Japanese club and then a form to fill out (that may be a survey) to send back to the club. Condition : The delicate b/w paper fold-out sleeve is in great shape! Edges and corners are still crisp! No dents. No tears. No marks. The printing remains clear and legible (if you read Japanese!). The red flexi-disc shows no particular wear. I acquired this item back in the late 1980s. Not positive if I was the second or third read more
