N Scale. It will run both on DCC and DC layouts. Description: This is an N Scale F3A (w/o SG) Locomotive . It is DCC friendly (but also runs on DC) . Just drop in your favorite decoder. Decorated with ATSF. #21C. A little information on the F3 Locomotive prototype... " Delivered in 1946, Santa Fe's first F3 locomotives featured a silver-painted body with red "Warbonnet" over the cab. A-Units originally had three porthole windows and a single headlight. Santa Fe was quick to make changes; removed was the center porthole window and added was a second headlight.
