Up for bids is " KATO NIOE Orient Express in Japan '88 11 cars set new ".The auction is a set of 10-561 (basic set) and 10-562 (add-on set), and they are sold only in Japan. JR East invited Orient Express (Nostalgie Istanbul Orient Express) to Tokyo in 1988. The train came from Paris to Hong Kong via Russia and Beijing and carried by ferry boat to Hiroshima, Japan. Then, wheels were changed and maintained for operation in Japan. The train traveled all around Japan and people enjoyed the nostalgic atmosphere. Originally the two book contains 13 cars. The two Japanese support cars are taken out, so the auction is for 11 cars.
