Original old book - The Katy Kruse Dolly Book with verses by Rose Fyleman - published George G. Harrap & Co - first edition 1927 - the book measures 28cms x 22cms and is 1.5cms thick; some crayon colour mark to back hardcover; red cloth spine overall very good, hardcovers very worn to the corners - name in ink written small to the inside front blank hardboard, a few small ink marks to the following blank page and an old price in shillings in pencil; light age foxing to the half title page; most of the pages throughout ( but not all) have a 1" long tear/ rip to the bottom edge margin; lovely glossy colour plates of the dolls throughout - some handling wear to title page and this same rip to the bottom of the title page as shown; plate iii has a 2" long tear bottom edge as has text page 11/12 - some mainly light handling wear to right hand margin from the pages having been turned - a few superficial scuff marks to a minority of the plate pages; plate vi has a 2.5" tear to the bottom edge; the bottom of plate viii has a torn area and a pice missing to the bottom margin; long tear to the margin of plate xi; a 2.5" long tear to page 21/22; scuffed and gouged into a hole area near the middle of text page 27/28; gouge mark, scuff and a small hole to page 29/30 and a 3.5" long tear to this page - small area of red crayon to back blank page,
