You are bidding on a page from a scarce children's book, published over 110 years ago. The print is a woodcut type. It depicts a Greenlander or Eskimo (Esquimau) in a kayak. Wonderful details in his face. There is text above and below the picture, which could be trimmed before framing.The caption reads: "Esquimau in his water-proof kayak." Forgive the poor quality of the scan. The print looks much better in real life. The page is in excellent condition. The page size is approx. 6.75 x 9.5 inches and the actual image size (without margins) is approx 5.5 x 4 inches (approx. 15x18 cm). This is NOT a recent copy or modern reproduction, but a GENUINE ANTIQUE item. It would look wonderful framed as a gift! All prints are delivered in an archival sleeve and packed flat with heavy cardboard or rolled in a sturdy tube.
