Perception Acadia ScoutWe have a Perception Acadia Scout for sale. We purchased this boat new to introduce our grandchildren to kayaking.This kayak was designed specifically for kids, every detail/dimension is optimized for young paddlers up to 150 pounds. Our grandchildren are tall so they were out of the boat a bit over 100 pounds.Included is a Werner Sprite paddle. This paddle is composite/fiberglass and has a smaller diameter shaft to better fit the hands of young paddlers. The paddle is 78.75" (200cm) long and weighs ~31oz. The kid sized paddle enables a young kayak paddler to stay on the water longer comfortably.This kayak has been discontinued by Perception and they are hard to find. The list price on the Acadia Scout was ~$400 and the list price on the Werner Sprite paddle is $90. Kayak Specifications: Length 10', Width 23", Max weight 150 lbs., Boat weight 26 lbs., Cockpit length 28",Cockpit width 13"Local pickup only in Pflugerville TX area by arrangement. I can deliver for cost of gas in the Travis and Williamson County area.
