Another remarkable figure in the style of Victorian Valentine postcards or cards, this boy stands 7 ½" tall. He has a stiffened felt heat-shaped collar and a real crepe paper tassel on his hat. The face is meticulously painted in the style of the most skillfully painted German bisque figures. He's holding two hearts hanging from a satin ribbon. Start someone's Valentine collection with this beautifully done little messenger of "The Day." NOTE: I still have not gotten a definitive answer about the material from which these figures are made. It's somewhat lighter that resin, stronger than chalkware and seems to be a bit of a secret. My fine print: S/H for USA will be via Priority Mail.
