Please read entire description before bidding.Up for auction is a Keen Kutter Transition Mini-Trapper Knife.Keen Kutter is a name recognized by knife collectors for over 120 years.The Keen Kutter tangstamp was reintroduced in 1992 by Schrade and a number of blades were stamped with the 92 stamping.In 2006 Bear Cutlery acquired the rights to the Keen Kutter name and began producing knives with a new 2006 tangstamp.Fortunately for serious collectors a factory cleanup produced the old blades and handles.The two were put together to commemorate a new era of Keen Kutter.This knife was part of a SFO for SMKW and features beautiful Blue Smooth Bone handles,Nickel Silver bolsters & pins,Stainless Steel blades,and Brass liners.The master blade features the special Transition Series etching.The master blade has the 2006 tangstamp and the secondary blade has the 92 tangstamp.But what makes this knife unique is the fact it is missing the color-filled acrylic shield ,a factory error,as all others were produced with shields.It measures 2 3/4" read more
