RARE ARTWORK by KEITH HARING 1985 A DIAMOND HIDDEN IN THE MOUTH OF A CORPSE ALBUM 1985 Only a handful of these were made by GIORNO POETRY SYSTEMS back in 1985 to celebrate the burgeoning underground art, music, and poetry scene in New York City's East Village and Lower East Side. Keith Haring was commissioned to design the package and added countless pieces of artwork. The record features (at the time unknown) artist like SONIC YOUTH, HUSKER DU, DAVID JOHANSEN (NEW YORK DOLLS) and others including poets like WILLIAM S BURROUGHS. A truly rare artifact from the heyday of the underground NYC art scene and a valueable collection of Keith Haring artwork, this release is now owned by art dealers, private collectors and museums due to the fact that it was such a limited release. This copy remains in excellent condition. Needless to say this is a highly collectable item so only serious buyers please.
