Available for your bidding pleasure is a fine example of an un-restored KELLOGG MODEL 925 MASTERPHONE in 100% bakelite. This is the phone they call the ashtray and is an all too seldom seen example of mid 1930's art deco industrial design. I acquired this phone as part of a much larger lot of unrelated electronics. In all honesty, I have no capacity for evaluating or restoring a beauty like this. As such, I have made no attempt to polish the phone (beyond simple dusting) or to inspect the viability of the electrics. T is no wall plug and I have no interest in opening the case to ascertain what would need to be done to fit one. The bakelite appears to be in great shape and, in my opinion, is not beyond restoration. As with all my listings, I welcome your questions and or requests for additional photographs.
