1997 Ken & Barbie as Romeo and Juliet, first in a series from the Together Forever Collection. Limited Edition and NRFB. Box is in good overall condition with no rips or tears. Who better to capture the beauty and poignancy of youth and true love than Barbie and Ken! The first couple in the Together Forever series, the dolls clothes are beautifully detailed to evoke the intricacy and richness of Renaissance fashions. As Juliet, Barbie wears a high-waisted velvet gown with golden trim and a dramatic chapel train that falls from her shoulders. Her sleeves are elegantly finished with ruffles and puffed at the top. Her brunette hair is richly braided with golden trim. As Romeo, her your idealistic lover, Ken doll wears a blue velvety tunic with silvery cloak, and a blue velvety hat. His legs are elegantly attired in blue leggins with black slippers on his feet. Comes from a smoke free but pet friendly home.
