Kenrick and Sons, West Bromwich, have been in the manufacturing business in England as ironmongers since 1791. They are still operating today, making doors, furniture & contract hardware. This padlock is remarkable: a high precision, heavily plated brass lock with silky smooth movement of the three knurled dials. They are not numbered; this is a click-counter. The combination is not known. Stamped on the top LOCK, Sakae, Patented, Ken-Ei Mfg Co., Ltd. T is a threaded hole down through the center of the lock, for unknown purpose. The bottom of the case is stamped T 51166. The bottom of the shackle is flush with the bottom of the case, and is stamped with the KEI logo. This lock's condition is mint except for light scuffing on the bottom. The dimensions are 1 1/8 inch diameter by 2 1/4 inches high. (Please remember to visit my web site at )
