Up for auction are the following items relating to Ken Kesey – a beautiful reprint of the historic 1965 Muir Beach Acid Test; a signed book pertaining to Merry Pranksters’ 1964 cross-country voyage aboard the Further bus:1) Poster, Muir Beach Acid Test, 1965. Performers included The Grateful Dead, The Fugs, The Merry Pranksters, Allen Ginsberg and Neal Cassady. Designed by Paul Foster, this finely printed reprint by one of Ken Kesey’s son, is a replica of the scarce and highly sought-after original printing of the poster (which were originally printed on blue, goldenrod or white paper). This is beautiful, offset-printed poster on stock paper and would look amazing matted and framed. Poster is in very nice condition with only minor wear. Measures h-15 " x w-12 inches.2) Signed First Edition, The Further Inquiry by Ken Kesey. NY: Viking Press, 1999. Boldly signed and inscribed by Ken Kesey in gold ink on the front flyleaf.
