1 Hollow Unopened Water Filled Keokuk Geode (Looks like the bottom right side is a second geode so its a possible double geode) 1 Lbs 7.2 oz. Nice size 4.30 x 3.60 inch diametersThis is one of 6 water geodes that I have to sell This one is plum full of water and from wh ere thi s was dug out of shale, its a high probability of it being a white ring geode. A white ring geode is a geode that has a layer of white chalcedony that was grown over with quartz, similar to a diamond dew drop geode except a thicker coating of crystals. These type always have bright crystals and some have a purple cast to them. They almost always have silvery colored pyrites, needles and cubes. Great geodes and I would give this one a 85+% chance of being a white ringer geode when opened. The ideal way to o pen this would be to saw it so it could be polished and displayed. The value would double if it were cut and p olished and had the white rind. Shipping will be 7.00 dollars on this auction because of the size and packing needed to keep this geode safe. Let me know if you need a special auction made up with hollow or opened ge odes.
