Kershaw Tilt 4001 DLC #092 Rare Collectable Folding Knife for sale in excellent condition with original box and paperwork. Limited Edition and serial number 092 of only 205 produced. The Kershaw Tilt with DLC coating folding knifes are very rare and highly prized collector's items for sure. Limited edition and discontinued, the Unique Kershaw Tilt 4001 DLC folding knife, featuring a composite Vanax 75/420 stainless steel blade, titanium and carbon fiber handle overlay, ball bearing pivot, and a very limited production run of 205. The Kershaw Tilt is the only knife of its kind. The flip style opening of this knife is simply amazing, really. In 2010, Kershaw was awarded "American Made Knife of the Year" for the Model 4001 Tilt. The Tilt's blade is made from a unique combination of Vanax 75 and 420 stainless steel. The 420SS gives the blade its strength and flexibility while the Vanax 75 offers an incredible wear factor, at least 2.5 times longer than the 420 SS. And, about the best corrosion resistance possible in any stainless steel blade. Blade deploys using the patented Kershaw Velocity Technology KVT system of ball bearings supporting the blade. This allows for smooth, fast opening with no springs, torsion bars or complicated mechanical devices required. Secure blade locking is from the solid titanium frame lock design with strong lock up and solid report. The Tilt's frame is made of 100% titanium making it extremely strong and light. The Tilt's unique design fits perfectly into the user's hand, with multiple finger placement available with the added blade choil. Kershaw has machined every extra gram off of the frame they could to make the knife as light as possible while still maintaining structural integrity. The Tilt's unique name is also CNC milled on the inside of the scale. Kershaw's Tilt truly is a masterpiece. Even the pocket clip is a fine piece of engineering. It is sculpted from titanium and what you would expect on a very high end collector's knife. This is an extremely unique, rare and valued collectible knife.
