You are bidding on an exceptional example of a Keuffel & Esser E4181 JetLog Duplex Decitrig Slide Rule. The box is labeled E4181 and the slide rule marked 4181-3. The set includes many extras: A K & E liftime guarantee card, small brochure on pocket slide rules, small pamphlet on caring for duplex rules, leather case and belt loop, harcover 128 page manual and box. The box has minor shelf wear but is very nice shape. The previous owner wrote his name inside the flap of the case, although from the look of it, the case was hardly ever used, nor was the book or rule. The slide rule has the following scales: Front: LL02,LL03,DF /CF,CIF,CI,C / D,LL3,LL2 and Back: LL01,L,K,A /B,T,SRT,S /D,DI and LL1. LL02,LL02,CIF,CI,LL01 and DI scales are in red. All scales are clear and shard, with no fading or bleeding. The cursor slides smoothly and is in great shape. the metal endplates have no scratches or markings on them at all. Serial number is 033901. This is a beautiful set and one that is quite uncommon. It will be a great addition to any collection. Good luck bidding.
