Keuffel & Esser 4143 Kissam Stadia Slide Rule and Case is a very desirable and scarce K+E 4143 Kissam Stadia slide rule. (The instruction ruler lists the model number as No. 68 1486.) This slide rule has surveying applications in the civil engineering field. The slide rule is in very good to excellent condition. The cursor is in great shape and is free of any breaks and chips. The included original case is also in very good condition, as is the 2-sided plastic instruction ruler. T aren't any names or initials written or etched on/into the slide rule, the case, or the instruction ruler. The slide rule measures approximately 10 7/8 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide (top face) by 1 3/8 inches wide (bottom face) by 1/4 inch tall. Serial number 398915. (You can see the actual scales and instruction rule by and viewing the scans.) The scales are: R 1 [V 1, HC, V 2] R 2 (V 3 is also labeled on the right side of the second scale, and the H scale is in red in the top center of the rule.) The winning bidder pays actual shipping. For U.S. bidders it will be $4.80 for USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. Insurance is available at the option of the buyer. (Rates are those charged by the post office.)
