The date on the instruction brochure accompanying this Keuffel & Esser Drafting Machine is dated 1964. The brochure shows all the parts and how to set them up. The drafting machine comes with four scales. Two of the scale boxes are still included. All of the original parts are present except for a rubber cover that would fit over the mounting plate that would be screwed onto the drafting table. This would not affect the machine's functioning or integrity. T may have been an anchor clamp for temporary mounting included with this machine. If so it is not present. The scales are in surprisingly good condition with only the most minor scuffing from use on the table. T are a few marks from bumps on the ends of the arms and the aluminum cover that covers the underside of the turn level has some dents in it. The dents do not interfere with movement of the arms.
