You are bidding on a “Secret Compartment” key chainthat has a removable cap that exposes a handy hidden compartment. This particular item is made using one of the rarest and most beautiful woods in the world, Red Amboyna Burl and is primarily grown in Borneo. A"burl" is an abnormal growth that typically grows on the outside of the tree and usually near the tree trunk. So during the turning process, natural flaws such as dark lines, imperfections, natural voids, knots, worm holes, insect art, etc. all adding to the uniqueness and beauty of the piece, are revealed. This is a versatile container that could hold emergency money (not included), toothpicks, medication, matches, or reminder notes. The interior has a food-safe finish; exterior is a durable Gold plated finish, providing a long wearing key chain that stands up to everyday wear and tear. Key ring has an overall length that measures 4” long including the ring, and the base portion has a rough diameter of ⅝” wide. All of my Key Chains that are made from wood are now finished using the Super Glue (CA Glue) finish for all of my pens. This type of finish is extremely durable and will help keep your key chain safe from water, oil and the rigors of daily use.
