This is my beautiful painted brass Union Pacific Challenger.Unfortunately I no longer have the time or place to run it or display it. It's factory painted in the gray livery that looks so much better than the black. I bought this beauty New in 1987 and have run it maybe 5 times since then. This one is made and painted in Japan, unlike some more recent imports. It has been stored very carefully. So it is practically brand new. This model is so detailed and precisely painted that if you get very close it looks very real, massive, and imposing. When taking the pictures I tested the motor unit on 12 V and it ran smoothly. So it should run fine for you. Includes the 4-6-6-4 locomotive and the detachable tender. This set comes in its original foam lined box. One exactly like this sold for over $1000 on ebay on Mar 31.
