Comfort can affect safety. Don't buy nylon. An infant will have a fit wearing a cheap uncomfortable nylon vest. The most common mistake parents make is to remove the life vest when the baby throws a fit. This is a common problem when you buy a cheap uncomfortable vest at a discount mart.
