This is a great example of the Kinetic 1/32-scale kit of the North American F-86F-30 Sabre jet fighter of the Korean war, which features markings for the “Beauteous Butch II” aircraft as it appeared after the final combat mission as flown by American triple-ace Captain Joseph McConnell. This model is essentially a higher technology version of the much older Hasegawa version of the F-86F-40 kit, which such improvements as recessed lines and much more detail and features. Among the kit’s highlights are a highly-detailed J47 engine which can be exposed by removing the aft section of the fuselage, which can be rested upon the provided dolly, positionable flight control surfaces, two styles of wing pylons and wing tanks, detailed gun bays and optional intake and exhaust duct covers. The kit is 100% complete with all of the parts still sealed in the original factory plastic bags, with instructions and decals also included.
