This is a beautiful old set from King & Country's Streets of Old Hong Kong. It is in gloss, and is the Old Bookseller scene. It has a beautiful bookcase full of books and magazines, with a calico cat perched on top, a beautiful lady patron, a scholar intently reading, a small child seated, reading a picture book, and the old Bookseller, who has dozed off in his chair. It is obviously a warm day, and both the lady and the bookseller have fans in hand. The painting is wonderful- the faces are full of character, and the clothes are painted with tiny embroidery- especially the lady.This is a gorgeous set in mint condition, from my personal collection. It has been displayed in a glass fronted cabinet for many years. This set is no longer being made!These are HEAVY! I have included a postage ESTIMATE for overseas, but expect the customer to pay the cost of postage.
