SOUNDS MAGAZINE - OCTOBER 17 1970 This is in direct competition with Melody Maker, NME, Record Mirror and the other big British Weekly magazines. It comes in the standard tabloid size of 12 x 16 1/2" with approx. 45 pages. This is a little hipper than MM and covers all the cool bands. Along with the great rock coverage there is plenty on Folk, Jazz, Pop etc... It has chart positions, interviews, bio's, record reviews, live concert reviews and the best record company ads. Besides the above mentioned artists this issue also has stuff by Hawkwind/ Moody Blues/ Quicksilver/ Muddy Waters/ James Gang/ Pete York/ Ten Years After/ Fairport Convention/ Wishbone Ash/ Johnny Winter.
