This is a genuine early printing of the fabulous King James Bible, dated 1627. Published by Bonham Norton and John Bill, it appeared after the earlier but better known edition by Robert Barker (the famous Breeches Bible). This edition changes Gen 3.7 reads "... and they sewed figge leaves together and made themselves aprons" as opposed to Barker's 'breeches'. The title page has been repaired long ago and relaid onto a new sheet. There is some marginal worming. The dedication to King James is present with some 19th C ink script, plus the almanac. The Old Testament text is complete, and could be removed and rebound into a new book.APOCRYPHAFrom the mid point on this book now gets the damage.
