RARE and BEAUTIFUL VIBRANT COLOR ORIGINAL 1932 GLOSSY 2-PAGE ADVERTISEMENT MAGAZINE SPREAD FOR THE CLASSIC MONSTER FILM OF ALL TIME, KING KONG , STARRING THE BEAUTIFUL FAY WRAY. This rarely seen advertisement is in the complete RKO RADIO PICTURES CAMPAIGN BOOK, which is within the Motion Picture Herald issue of May 21, 1932 (Volume 107, #8). In the Motion Picture Herald, RKO announces its new season's product in 29 full color, glossy double-sided pages (essentially an inset to the magazine). Some of the films announced in full color ads are: The Most Dangerous Game , John Barrymore in The Moon and Sixpence , Richard Dix in Deadline Crasher , Frank Buck in Bring'em Back Alive , Ann Harding and Leslie Howard in The Animal Kingdom , Tallulah Bankhead in Thunder Below , and shorts, including Edgar Kennedy, and color cartoons from The Van Buren Studio. In addition, are many,many more gorgeous color ads. Magazine measures 9 1/4" wide and 12" long and contains 140 pages. The 2-page KONG ad measures 12" long and 18 1/2" wide.
