Seal # 36-0804614 This is a rare bottle of King's Ransom Whisky that is believed to be from 1937 - 1941 because of a special label on this bottle! The Label reads "Due to the exigencies of war changes in the packaging of this whisky are unavoidable - The Quality is Unchanged" Front of the bottle reads: "Round The World" 4/5 Quart 94 Proof King's Ransom Blended Scotch Whisky 100% Scotch Whiskies William Whiteley & Co. Distillers. Leith Scotland Established in the reign of King George IV Back of the bottle reads: King's Ransom "Round The World" Blended Scotch Whisky Blended and Bottled by William Whiteley & Co. Sole Agents for U.S.A. International Distributors New York, N.Y. Distributed by The Paddington Corporation New York, N.Y. The underside reads: William Whiteley & Co Leith Scotland 070 3 Carton is in very good condition and says" Carton Made In Scotland" It also has some old paper in the box that appears to say "It's Whiteley's!" But the paper is very torn and was probably around the bottle.
